Since the 1960's, Polaroid has had very little news in terms of product innovation. Their cameras are what they are. Thankfully, a lot of people like what they are and always have been. So instead of changing what’s inside the camera, they changed the outside. Enter the 1200 Spectra. The design looks less like a camera and more like the Jetson’s toaster oven. This is a simple visual gag that ended up bringing home a Lion from Cannes.
